R. Lawrence ‘Larry’ Hughes, Vice President Airline Administration

Mr. Hughes  has worked in commercial aviation for over 40 years, retiring as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors of DHL Worldwide Express.

 

At DHL, Mr. Hughes was responsible for airline operations, customer service, import/export operations and field services. Prior to DHL, Mr. Hughes worked as an executive for various airlines in operations strategic market development and planning functions, developing programs that focused on financial improvement , change management and increased market penetration. Mr. Hughes has also  served as a subject matter expert providing expert testimony on airline operations and airport development plans. He is an active private pilot.
